Playing is free. No purchase, entry fee, wager, donation, subscription, or payment of any kind is necessary to play, to score, or to be eligible for a prize.

YouTube is not a sponsor

YouTube is not a sponsor of this game and is not involved in running it. Subscribing, liking, commenting, viewing, sharing, donating, or buying anything has no effect on eligibility, scoring, standings, or any prize.

How scoring works

Scoring is objective. Each question has one predetermined correct answer, set before the question goes on air. Correct answers earn points; incorrect and missing answers earn none.

A ZIP code team score is the sum of the top individual scores in that ZIP code, up to the team size set for that game (10 by default). If two ZIP codes are tied, the ZIP code with more unique players ranks higher; any remaining tie is settled by a predetermined skill-based tiebreak question.

One account, one ZIP, one answer

One player per signed-in account per game. You choose one participating ZIP code when you join, and that ZIP code is locked for the rest of that game.

You may submit one answer per question. Once submitted, an answer is final and cannot be changed. Answers received after a question closes are not accepted.

Prizes

The current prize is shown on the player page and on the broadcast. The prize may be increased during a live game. It will never be reduced below an amount already published to players or shown on the broadcast.

Data we use

To play you sign in with the email you already use for this site. We store your display name, the ZIP code you select, and the answers you submit, so scores can be calculated and shown.

Public pages and the broadcast show only display name, ZIP code, and score. Email addresses and account identifiers are never published.

Scope

This game is operated locally for participating Rockford-area ZIP codes. Nothing here is a claim of nationwide legal compliance, and rules may be updated before a future game.
